I just opened my new airpod pros and when I was on a phone call the person said the audio was muffled. I tested it out with a voice memo and it definitely was muffled. I reset the airpods, they can't be dirty I just took them out of the box.

A. Interference:
This is likely an error with interference. So, start here:Â If your AirPods Pro make crackling or static sounds -Â Apple Support
B. If Used in a Closed Space:
If you are using these in a closed room, then echos can come about.
