Mac Book Pro M1 Max Customized Order is stuck at Processing

Hey Guys

I have ordered Mac book pro M1 Max chip 64gb One and a Protective Case for the same in US 10 days back and the money got deducted for the case that day itself and got it delivered the day after.

But for the laptop it is showing the delivery will be in between June 10th - June 24th and in the order status it is showing "Processing from the past 10 days" and the money also not yet deducted from the account for the laptop.

I just need to know "Will it take time to deduct the money since the delivery time is in 6 weeks ? or Is there any issue in the payment thing ?" because from past 10 days its stuck on processing.

Please find the attached screenshot of the order as well.

You'll need to talk to Apple as we are not Apple employees and have no more ability to do this than you do. We're users like you.

If you wish to contact Apple, start with the Get Support link on this page upper right. However, the ultimate answer to your situation is to wait. All sorts of shipments and delivery schedules worldwide have been seriously disrupted by COVID-19 and staffing shortages.

Typicall for orders placed online on the Apple site, the status of the order remains in "Processing" until the computer is manufactured and sent to shipping. At that time the status changes to "Prepared for Shipping" then "Shipping". The payment does not happen until the order is shipped.

Your cover payment was processed because the cover was shipped.

You can be irate if you wish.

You already have all the information available. If you call Apple, they will be polite and professional, and tell you that no additional information is available.

The parts are being reserved and collected and your Mac is expected to be built, tested, and delivered to you, currently estimated to occur on or before June 24. Given that delays are occurring because major cities in China where these are built are in COVID lockdown, that could still change.

Note the timeline under that progress graph on the web site display. The status will change briefly to 'preparing to ship' when your finished device is in the box and on the loading dock. There is NO additional visibility into the process until that happens.

• Wishing it would happen sooner will not change anything.

• Demanding additional information or dunning Apple Employees will not change anything.

• If any of this is unacceptable to you, your sole recourse is the cancel your order and make other arrangements.
