Large Families Apple ID issues.

I have 5 children. My wife is one of my Apple ID family members. I have 4 of my kids as part of the same family. Can my wife ‘create a family’ as well so she can share content etc with our youngest child? As in- can you be part of ‘two families’ (even though we all live under the one roof, are not divorced or separated or blended) - one as the primary manager in one ‘family’ and a ‘member’ in the other family?

Unfortunately, no.

Any one AppleID may be a member of only ONE family.

Additionally, RESIST any urge to share AppleIDs as a “quick fix / expedient.” Doing so is fraught w/ headaches which only get FAR worse as your children get older.

FWIW, “splitting” the kids (2 & 2) between the two organizers (aka parents) does allow any child to be easily “transferred” between families if desired in the future.
