I am trying to add and edit paragraph styles using Keynote version 12.0 (7033.0.134)
I can see styles I have defined but the 'add style' button is greyed out. This is with text selected.
You can also see from the drop down that I cannot edit.
Can anyone help me understand why this is happening?

So I have found the answer. The functionality is not available whilst collaborating.
