Does my phone use 3G

I have an IPhone 8 originally from Australia. I’m trying to use it with an AT&T sim in America, but the internet isn’t working. AT&T no longer operate with 3G phones. How can I find out if my iPhone requires 3G to work?

iPhone 8, iOS 15

2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.

However iPhone model specific feature is listed here --> Identify your iPhone model - Apple Support . and tap on "See the Technical Specs for Model XXXXXX" under each model and Scroll down to "Cellular and Wireless" section.
