My MacBook Air (2017) that I purchased recently, does not support Apple Sidecar or Universal Control whereas Macbook (2016) does. WHY? Is it software limitation or hardware limitation? Did I simply waste my money on the purchase of this MacBook Air (2017)?

Both require 2018 Macbook Airs.

Oh okay. I hope they fix this, or else they might affect a lot of users. Though M1 macs are in the trend, still a lot of people use old macs, because macs are reliable even if they are 3-4 years old. I seriously hope to see Universal Control on MacBook Airs of 2017.
