How to pass the activation lock

I got an Apple Watch series 5 and can’t connect it to my iPhone 11 cos they is an activation lock and I don’t have the guys email . I was in South Africa when I got the watch now am in Nigeria home and I don’t know what to do. Help please if you can assist.

Activation Lock Hey, So I have this apple watch series 3 I got from someone. When I was setting it up it asked for the persons apple ID and password. The person that you bought/got this watch from needs to follow all the steps in this link;

Remove the Activation Lock so that the buyer can use it.

If they can't or won't then get your money back or recycle the watch and mark it down as a bad experience.
