Text to Speak won't update voices after changing it in accessibility

Anyone figure out a solution to this previously posted question about text to speech voices not changing after updating accessibility options?


I followed all the steps posted here.


I restarted after updating the accessibility options.


No luck. When I select the "start speaking" option in any app - the voice = the system installed original voice.


Seems this issue originally posted in 2019 - is an ongoing issue.

You're welcome. The only difference I see is most all of my voices are enabled.


You can try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally.
