All you would need to do is go into your Apple account, into the subscriptions and choose the one for Apple TV Plus. It will give an option to cancel subscription. This is also covered in the support article that you came from, which I have linked it again below.

Note that The cancellation would need to be done at least 24 hours prior to the end of the trial. If that time has passed then it will automatically start the billing and any cancellation done now will only impact future billings.
