Pairing to watch

my watch said that it did not completely unpair. trying to repair my watch to my phone it will not let me. Apple Watch did not finish un pairing and I cannot redo this action. And all the instructions from Apple there is no advice on what to do if your Apple Watch does not finish un pairing with your phone

Is the watch still listed on icloud?;

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Then;

Set up and pair Apple Watch
