Unlock my mac

I have a new MacBook Pro 13” (2021) that apparently isn’t recognizing my password, and the fingerprint key needs to keep being reset…I cannot reset my password for the MacBook because it says it isn’t connected to the WiFi but I can’t connect it to WiFi until I unlock it and I can’t unlock it until I reset the password which I can’t do until it’s connected to WiFi ….do you see the circle here?

what do I do…helpppppp

There is no 13" 2021 MBP...

However you can see the details from the >About this Mac

this prevents you from using your Apple ID to reset your password

Sorry I mean the 14” as opposed to the 16”


My main issue was without WiFi or internet access I couldn’t do anything but finally I was able to connect it to WiFi by plugging it directly into my modem and from there open it to the admin reset page (or whatever it’s called ) and fix the issue using some of the steps you provided, so thank you for your response and tips.
