I have backed up my iphone 7 in temporary icloud back up and want to restore it on my new iphone 13 pro. I have already set up the new phone without backing up. Do I need to erase all content on my new iphone to restore from Icloud backup?

No I meant I have been using my new iPhone without restoring from backup. I found out recently about the temporary icloud backup and used it but can't restore it now. Is formatting my iPhone the only way and start from the beginning again?
