How do I delete multiple text messages without clicking on each one individually? I'd like to highlight several at one time and delete them same as is possible on emails.

Would Apple consider modifying the Message program to allow selection of multiple messages for deletion. I let my messages to grow to hundreds and I would really like to delete all messages from prior years. Thoughts?

In the Messages application, cmd-click each individual message that you want to be deleted, waiting a second for the message to change color as the selection takes place. Then right-click on any one of these, and choose Delete… from the secondary menu. It will prompt you and when you confirm, the selected messages will be gone.

I assumed the question was about deleting multiple conversations at one time rather than multiple messages within one conversation. I don't use Messages but my understanding is it's not possible to delete multiple conversations at one time?
