no sound from TV when connecting MacBook air
when I connect my MacBook air to a smart tv via hdmi cable I am getting no sound from the tv, just from my MacBook.

Hi BZurb,
Once you have your Mac and Smart TV connected by HDMI, you will need to change the audio output on the Mac. To do so:
- Go to Apple menu () and choose System Preferences
- Click Sound
- choose Output
- Select your Tv from the list of devices shown
