5G compatibility

What iPhones are compatible with the new 5G network? Will I need to update my 7plus to a newer phone to use 5G?

Only the iPhone 12 and 13 series phones and the newly announced iPhone se are 5G capable devices.


There is no way to make your iPhone 7 a 5G phone. It will continue to function fine on the LTE networks.
