Ipod Classic sync with Itunes - not possible?

I bought new songs from Itunes and when I wanted to sync with my Ipod, it somehow wiped all my music from the Ipod and I cannot sync with Itunes from laptop again.

I Googled for solutions that I have tried, with no success.

I have also seen comments and posts that the software for the Ipod Classic is not supported by Apple anymore?

The last time I bought songs and synced was around Oct/Nov last year.

Has anything changed since then?

Windows, Windows 10

Hello RichieB-68,

You should still be able to sync your iPod Classic with iTunes on your PC. First, be sure that you've installed available Windows software updates, then install any available iTunes updates: Update to the latest version of iTunes

After ensuring all is updated, use the following guide for syncing your content: Sync iTunes content on PC with your devices

If you're still having an issue, these steps may help: If you see error -5000, -69, 13010, or 13014 when you sync music from your Mac

If not, let us know more:

  • What happens exactly when you try to sync now?
  • Do you see an alert, and if so, what does it say?

The more details you can provide the better.

Take care.
