How to get updated iOS

How do I update my ios on my iPhone 6 its like 12. Something but when i try to download apps it tells me that i need ios 14 so how do i update it

The iPhone 6 is not compatible with iOS 13 or higher. The highest possible for that model is iOS 12.5.5.
