Blank Display

I have an iMac (2015, 27"). It was in sleep mode and when I brought it up, the display was blank. I turned it off and started it up and could hear the system doing something so the power supply is operative but the screen remained blank.

iMac display is not working My iMac display is not working. I can hear the computer running but no display. I have done several resets (un-plug the computer and all peripherals (except mouse and keyboard), wait 15 seconds, then plug in, wait 5 seconds and then restart. I did that several times. I can hear the boot sound but still no screen. I then reset the ram (option+command+P+R) several times. Still the same outcome. I can now hear the boot sound every 5 min as the computer is trying to reboot.

iMac blank screen My iMac will screen will randomly go blank. Not pitch black like when it is turned off, but the weird blue/black where you can tell the screen is on, just not showing anything. All of the other answers/possible solutions I have found are for MacBooks not an iMac. It is updated to the most recent macOS ventura, and isn't even 2 years old yet so I really don't understand why it is doing this all of a sudden. It will do it while I am actively using it as well as sometime during the night when I am not using it as I have to press & hold the power button to turn it back on. Sometimes have to press and hold the power button more than once to get any sort of response.

Please attempt a Safe Mode restart. If the problem is still occurring it’s a hardware issue and that means a trip to your local APPLe Authorized Service Provider.
