Had to have Mac reset due to stalled backup. Now Mac will don't connect to internet

If you have an older wireless keyboard and mouse that is no longer paired by the wipe, then you will need to use a USB keyboard and mouse for macOS Recovery and the initial setup. (FWIW most any USB Logitech, Generic or PC keyboard and mouse will work)

Please describe what you mean by "reset" that word can have several interpretations so we need to know exactly what you mean before we can offer any solutions.
