Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to bring up the App View.

If you're using List View, swipe left across the app you want to remove, then tap the red trash button. If you're using Grid View, tap and hold to activate jiggle mode, then tap the X in the top-left corner of the app you want to remove.

Tap Delete App to confirm.

Not all apps are available to delete.

I guess I didn't word correctly. My watch is only holding a charge for approx. 12 hours even though I charge overnight. I thought if I could close some apps that might be open on my watch it would save battery time. I try to press rectangular button on the side of watch, and then press once on the face to get the small red "x" to delete the open apps, but I'm unable to get to the red x. I was told that after red x comes up to slide left, sometimes it works, but not always. Very frustrated.
