You may have stored the same birthdate for contacts in multiple email accounts.

Either remove the contacts from the rarely used email account or disable the calendar from the rarely used mail account in the iOS Mail app.

Where is the calendar events stored on your iPhone? Please add the email account, that's it.

When you add events to the Calendar it gets added to the Default Calendar set on your device.
