my wife is having iPhone 5
but not able update new IOS version
hence not able to download app like WhatsApp , YouTube etc
please advise

i tried myself to download through wifi
tand was not possible any version
current version is ios 12
not able to update or download WhatsApp , YouTube etc from app store as the messages shows the operating system is outdated

An iPhone 5 cannot be updated beyond iOS 10.3.4.
I consulted 2, 3 service Center and they too advised that not possible to update a new iOS version
If you have iOS version 12.5.5, you have an iPhone 5S, 6 or 6 Plus. Neither can be updated further.
