Allocation of iCloud storage in Family Sharing

I just started an Apple One subscription that comes with 2TB of cloud storage. My spouse and I don't need that much, but our son does. Is there any way to adjust the allocation of storage to better reflect our needs? Thanks!

There is no option to allocate iCloud storage. Anyone who is sharing the plan can use any or all of the available storage. To share the storage plan, see the instructions in Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support
