You can either move the SIM card from your old phone, which will move the number to the new phone, get a new SIM card from your carrier, or ask your carrier to enable an eSIM on your phone.


If your new phone is an iPhone 12 or 13 you may need a new SIM or eSIM to use your carrier’s 5G network. You would have to ask your carrier.
