Midi notes in piano roll aren't visible. But audible.

Hey good people. New in the Logic Pro world. Been using Cubase and Reason for 20 years or so.

I have a problem and have tried to search for a solution with no luck.

The problem: I can't see the midi notes within the editor/piano roll. I can see the notes being there, when looking at the midi region in the sequencer. And the notes are being played and heard. Also when I open the editor/piano roll, where they aren't visable. What is wrong?

I did not record directly from a keyboard or draw them in. I recorded the midi notes from Reason Rack.

Best wishes from Brian

I found out that I had to press the button called "link" in the editor. Then the notes appear again. But I wonder why they disappeared in the first place.
