linking two separate pages in Pages

How do you link two separate pages together in Pages?

In a word processing document, pages automatically flow onto the next page and that is the implicit linkage. You could create text boxes sufficiently scaled to hold page-specific text, and then link the page 1 text box with the one on the second page. Otherwise, there is no linking of pages in Pages.
