There's really no way to find what is other. They are not stored in some specific location. They could also be system data that cannot be deleted.

Generally, they are dynamically created and destroyed by the OS.

If you have a very large store of "Other," the most common cause are local Time Machine Snapshots.

Most everything in "Other" can be purged by the OS when the space is needed.
