I got a free 6 month subscription of Apple Music through my Verizon plan so I canceled my current Apple Music subscription at the time to use the 6 months for free but when I did it deleted my whole playlist. Does anyone know how to recover or fix that issue?

I was reading the “Subscription and Privacy” and it says that it created a new type of subscription ID maybe that’s why it deleted? But then if you continue reading it says it resets after 180 days, does that mean it will reset to my old original playlist/original subscription ID with my old playlist?
Not possible unfortunately. You’ll need to start over.
That’s a reference to 3rd party subscriptions, n/a to you since your original one was through Apple.
Why is it not possible? It makes no sense for playlists not to be tied to the Apple Music account (Apple ID) or on iCloud
It’s tied to the subscription - no subscription, no playlist.
