phone still says i have no storage although i’ve just bought more

I only had 64gb of storage and i had used it all up so i bought the 99¢ 50gb and it still said i didn’t have enough storage, so finally i bought the $2.99 200gb family plan just for myself and i still sometimes can’t even open my emails or apps because it still shows i have 64gb… the only way i can see the updated storage where it shows i have 200gb is if i press on my name at the very top when i open settings. and i know all the 200gb aren’t used up because only 32gb are being used out of the total 200gb. how do i fix this?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

There is nothing wrong.

You cannot add storage to your device; it will always have 64GB. You can delete items or purchase a device with far more storage.

You have purchased iCloud space, used to sync your devices.
