currently using macOS Monterey 12.0.1
but stuck to download in macOS Monterey 12.1
Hi, and Happy New Year.
Run ActivityMonitor, then find and kill "com.apple.MobileSoftwareUpdate.UpdateBrainService".
Back to System Preferences > Software Update and you can see updater there.
