I lost my i phone xs max . It's gifted to me . So i don't have bill or imei number. I don't remember find my device on or off. How can i find my device.

If Find My was turned on, it should show a location there. The IMEI number or bill not required. Just the Apple ID you used with it for iCloud.
If it was not turned on, then it cannot be tracked in any way.
