Why Multiple iCloud SMTP servers?

why does my smtp server list for iCloud show two outgoing servers? I keep getting a failure to send, but when I check the Edit Server List, only one server is shown

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.0

Since iCloud uses the IMAP - anything on the Apple Servers is Safe when you Remove the iCloud account on the computer and re-enable it back as new.

This is my setup and only iCloud is listed

That is, delete on the Mac only, and reinitiate...

Thanks, mine looks a bit different. Only 2 outgoing servers listed in the "Edit Server" screen (for 2 accounts) but the drop down selection list to choose a server shows two servers specific to iCloud mail. I'm thinking maybe I need to just delete the iCloud mail account and reinitiate?
