Why does my iPad keep dropping my iPhone number in Messages? My iPhone number is indicated in my Apple ID on both devises, but not indicated in the Send & Receive tab for Messages on my iPad. My iPad doesn't let me add the phone number in the Message tab.

On your iPhone, open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Text Message Forwarding: Ensure that your iPad is listed and the switch next to it is set to ON. See whether this action reveals your phone number in the iPad’s Message settings to use.
