Apple menu bar won’t show up and I can’t type or click certain things.

My Apple iMac 2015 27-inch suffered a problem where the Apple Menu won’t show up. I checked all settings including the “Automatically hide and show menu bar” where it is unchecked. Can someone tell me what to do? As you can see in the image below, there is no menu bar.

Also I have restarted and shut down the iMac twice. And it still didn’t show up, but everytime I turn it on it says “Your Mac has been shut down because of a problem” and after that the menu bar didn’t show up.

Make sure you have the latest IOS updates on IOS and the apps installed.

Make a data back up to an off storage device.

Make sure you are updated on iCloud.

Reset the NVRam - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 (I believe the 2015 was an Intel chip and not silicon?)

This may resolve things. My first thougth is resetting the NVRAM will restabilize things. You should only have to do this once and see your fix. If your issue reappears, you may need to reinstall the OS.

Drastic, but a corrupt OS does not get better over time (and often will continue with other hiccups appearing).
