General and ongoing cleaning can help you maintain your AirPods or AirPods Pro.

AirPod Pro's will not fit - what are my options?

I was previously delighted with Air Pod 1st gen. Today I received APPs as a gift and upon initiating the fitting test, I am told to "Put AirPods in your ears to proceed" with each size of silicon buds - this is with the pods firmly seated in my ears. In other words, no one size fits sufficiently well for me to even initiate the fitting test.

Having never experienced a problem with original Air'pods, and a wide range of other in ear devices, with silicon buds, such as Ultimate Ears, I am somewhat surprised. However it seems like the AirPods Pros are not going to work.

One of my major needs is the noise reduction function and if the pods don't fit, according to Apple, then NR cannot be activated.

Thoughts anyone? Am I doing something wrong?
