0.5 camera will not work on iPhone 12

my 0.5 camera will not work. In fact, it opens my camera as 2x. My slo mo, time lapse, and pano all work in 0.5x but my camera and video will not. I’m not sure what to do about this. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and have had it for about 3 months.
