Is there a reliable way or ways to fax (sending out and receiving in) faxes for business without having a landline and using a stand-alone fax machine or combination fax/printer/scanner?
Our landline receives nothing but spammer calls and for that we pay hundreds of dollars each year. The only use for the landline is for sending and receiving faxes.

google is your friend if these are even still available—
Use eFax to receive faxes. make sure you sign up for the free account and make sure you tell them your preference is to receive a fax are in TIFF format not in their fax program.
