Ever since I updated to Apple Watch OS 8.3, my text messages and all other notifications arrive 2 minutes delayed. For instance, I see a text on my phone, then 2 minutes later my watch alerts me of a new message- but it is the same message I already read. I am starting to think apple intentionally messes up older devices with their updates- I have an Apple iWatch Series 2.

Thank you for advice. However, I believe the link you provided was intended for those that don’t receive texts at all.
Instead, I unpaired the watch to my iPhone and Erased the Watch. This seems to have fixed the delay texts issue. Thanks.
