Why does my screen keep getting darker?

I got this MackBook Pro for 2 years now and in the last few days, whenever I open it, after few seconds its screen will get darker. I HAVE already tried fixing this with the settings and disabling automatic brightness changes. My screen doesn't only get darker but at the bottom the screen looks very strange as well. [as you can tell by the picture]. Thank you for any help

Hi,

I think your MacBook Pro has back light issue.

Try to check it with Apple Diagnostics if it reports backlight or screen related error.

If it doesn't help, contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Pro to Genius Bar(you need to make reservation) if your nearby retail Apple Store is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
