PDF link in Keynote

I'm putting together a Keynote presentation and would like to be able to add a pdf link that I can click on from in the presentation and automatically open up the full pdf document outside keynote. All I can manage to figure out is how to add a pdf to keynote so the first page shows inside the presentation, but I'd rather be able to quickly leave the presentation by clicking a link to open up the full pdf inside a PDF Reader.

It is not possible to click a link in Keynote to open up a PDF file, the only options are; slide, webpage, email or phone number.

A workaround which achieves exactly the same effect is to open up the pdf in full screen view and play the Keynote file and switch between them using the application switcher (press and hold the command key then tap the tab key on the keyboard)
