Apple Has Botched it - Can't Upgrade a Fresh Install

I've done a fresh install of my late 2013 MacBook pro - 16GB RAM 512GB SSD. Laptop has more than enough hardware to run up to Big Sur.


So, I'm trying to upgrade to Big Sur and can't find it in the app store and there's no direct link to it.


Apple, what is the direct link to download Big Sur installer?


This is ridiculous.

They broke the links. The work-around for the very short term is to use these:


Copy/Pasting one of these into the Safari address bar is said to work…
