Installation failed: Can't download the software because of a network problem.

I needed to download new software to connect my phone, but received:

"Installation failed: Can't download the software because of a network problem."


How do I find out what the network problem is?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

If you see "Software update is required to connect to your iOS device" on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Does the computer have a Active and Functioning Internet Connection ?


Is the AntiVirus software installed as it maybe interfering with your connection.
