cinematic editor greyed out

I filmed in cinematic mode iphone 13pro

"Processed" the file on iphone, airdropped to imac an imported to fcp.

But cinematic editor stay's grayed out.

Tried a lot of options, tried to find a solution, but did find none what helped me.

i'm on Monterey 12.0.1 on imac M1

FCP 10.6.1

Anyone a suggestion what im doing wrong.

Cinematic Mode Editing option not showing on MacBook Pro I have a new MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.3.1 and iMovie 10.3.2 I airdropped my cinematic mode video clip to a folder and opened it in iMovie. The cinematic editing mode does not appear. I tried the opt cmd open iMovie suggestion and it didn’t fix it. My iPhone 13 ProMax allows me to edit the videos in iMovie for my iPhone. iMovie update causes hang Anyone know how I might repair my iMac after receiving an iMovie update - supposedly to enable cinematic editing on iPhone 13 Pro? I have deleted the app and reinstalled - no effect. (I did not update my events when asked if I wanted to.) Screenshot of the Force Quit (only way to get it to do anything after initial launch) Report for the techno geeks/wizards that may understand it. iMovie is currently completely useless for me and I have an Audition Recording Service and iMovie is my main (only) editor. Cinematic mode in FCPX is not available in Monterey. Hi, i made some cinematic mode video on my iphone 13promax. Imported to fcxp and changed library to Wide gamut HDR, project to Wide Gamut HDR Rec 2020 HLG. My OS is Monterey (M1). After that i go to Clips and i see selection "show cinematic mode", but i can not turn it on. The selection is grey(not available). WHY???? Please help...

Two possible problems. When you share from the phone with Airdrop you need to make sure you tap Options to transfer the sidebar file along with the video. The second is that you have to have the clip selected in the project to access the Cinematic editor.
