importing new pictures

My Iphone imports hundreds of pictures over and over when I try to import my new pictures.

How can I stop this????

Photo's on mac stopped importing my pictures from my Iphone Please help me out! I'm importing my pictures from my Iphone to Photo's in Mac but after 450 photo's the application stops importing my pictures and it doesn't react anymore (see picture). How can I fix this? When I disconnect my Iphone the application says it can't import some pictures because of the file. Then I tried it once and the same happens: it stops importing at 200 pictures. Photos - how do I import properly? I have just imported 80GB of photos and videos from my iPhone to free up space. Annoyingly, the albums they were organised in have all been ignored. Also some of the photos I swear I deleted on the phone have been imported and I'm having to delete them again. And, in instances where I took a series of 10 photos in succession (timer mode) and have already chosen the best one.. these have imported all of the photos and now I have to go back again and choose them again deleting the rest. Is there something missing in the way I'm importing them or is there a setting I need to enable?

Iphone pictures was imported to my laptop I linked my laptop to the i cloud all the pictures were imported to the laptop and i don't want that .. how can i undo when i went to the preferences of i cloud the mark of photo was unchecked yet all my iphone pictures were imported what can i do ?

Where are you importing these pictures from? Which method are you using to import the pictures?

I just p lug my phone into my desktop and say import pictures. It used to only put new pics in but now hundreds over and over. Thanks for answering
