Spam folder

I have a spam folder on my iPad from which I can move or trash. I cannot see a spam folder on my iMac and have been unable to locate it. My junk folder on my iMac does not have spam emails I have received on my ipad

Any suggestions please?

Also how can I change emails from spam to trusted. I have tried putting info into my contacts list but this hasn’t fixed it. I understood by moving it from spam to inbox that this would change it for future email but that doesn’t work either

thanks

Your Junk folder is the Apple version of a Spam folder; you tweak it in Mail Preferences Junk Mail tab.

All our devices have no Spam folder and we all use Apple mail. I think "Spam" is relative to the system you're using (Comcast, outlook, gMail, yahoo or other) and not Apple's mail app specifically.

We have Yahoo, Comcast and iCloud accounts only with no "Spam" folder.

I would imagine your iMac is not getting your spam because its filtering is better perhaps? I wish I had that problem ... less junk.
