Apple TV and NOW integration (UK)

The NOW tv app no longer seems integrated with Apple TV (tvOS / iOS / iPadOS).

Content no longer appears in 'Up Next'; some content (e.g. Succession) is no longer available from 'Watch Now; and some not playable via search (e.g. Temple).

Also Sky News tvOS app no longer works!

System down somewhere, or falling out?!

Apple TV App on Macbook Pro Catalina not streaming My subscription to Apple TV is active and I cannot watch anything on my Macbook. All the shows start playing and stop after 8 seconds. Sometimes I get the "This programme is not available in your region", but most of the time I don't. It just stops playing. Watching the same shows on my iPhone works perfectly. Where is Apple TV Plus search bar? I am trying to use my Apple TV + subscription, but cannot find particular programmes I want to watch because it only presents a small selection of programmes in "themes", and there is no search bar. I do not have an iPhone or iPad, so I'm accessing AppleTV via its web client. There was a similar message about this here in July 2020, so fairly unbelievable that such a basic function is missing nine months later. Am I missing something. Given I'm paying for this service, surely they would not deliberately withhold basic functions to non-iPhone users?

How can I watch / chose programmes to watch on my regular TV (HD, but not Apple nor smart) via our Amazon Firestick. Live in the U.K. Just got the Apple One subscription via the Cineworld website on my iPad, but can’t figure out how to watch / chose programmes to watch on my TV via our Amazon Firestick. Search for ‘Apple One’, on Firestick: limited range of ancient programmes came up, but not even sure if this was related to Apple… No ‘Apple One’ icon. ‘Apple TV’ icon said “unavailable”.

It will be up to the developer to maintain that. You can try reinstalling the app as well as toggling off/on the connection with the TV app. If the issue persists you will need to give feedback to the developer so they can investigate.

That's good. Sometimes it's just a temporary glitch on their end.
