cisco VPN anyconnect not working anymore after monterey upgrade, was using version 4.10.02086

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.0

Boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

Try disabling uninstall the VPN and test your connection.


Uninstall any and all third party Antivirus, Cleaners, Optimizers, VPN, speeder uppers....

all known to cause issues on the macOS



Maybe this is not an issue... Is the consumer grade VPN needed for your purpose...(?)


A true VPN tunnel, for example between you and your job, or a Bank server would be of value, otherwise might be time to re-think the usage.
