can't update apps - Store not accepting Apple ID password

I can't update apps on my iphone 8. (currently on IOS 15.0.2)

Proceeding as normal, but was prompted to enter in my Appleid password (using the same ID and PW that I used to sign in here and for the icloud site, so that seems to be working).

I entered in my PW letter for letter, but app store is not accepting it.

I just finished an account recovery that I waited two weeks for. not wanting to get locked again.

Didn't expect to get issues waiting for my new 13 to be delivered...
