Apple Music number stops halfway

When playing songs on Apple music with airplay to my Sonos speakers the music stops making sound but the number keeps playing in my screen. It is mostly at 3/4 of the song. Is this a bug or can I do something to solve this annoying problem?

Music briefly pauses when adding to queue/play next When I add any song to "play next“ in Apple Music while already playing another song, the playback cuts out for roughly a second. Then the app continues the song that was playing. It’s like the app is busy adding the song to the queue and can‘t play audio. I think it mostly happens when you're nearing the end of the currently playing song (last 15 seconds or so) Same occurs when moving songs up and down in the queue. I tried different AirPlay speakers / target devices. Always the same. I've experienced this on iPhones, iPads, Macs and on Apple TV so its definitely an app problem.

After Sonoma I am having problems playing my music with AirPlay. After installing Sonoma I am having problems playing my music with AirPlay. Even though I have the Sound Control turned on, a song sometimes suddenly plays loudly. The next time a new song has to start, the song continues, but the sound has disappeared. Now, as I key this in, Music freezes and closes itself. This is more common after installation. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Try updating the app. I have had this happen and that’s what Google suggested. 😀

Sonos app and speakers are updated to the latest software version and I use also the latest iOS version 15.1.
