Apple TV 3 Airplay not working

Hi, I am having issues with Apple TV 3 - the device is not showing up neither on my iPhone nor Macbook. I have tried setting it up on different networks (at my home and in work), successfully connected my iPhone as remote both times, but no luck with Airplay. I have tried all the steps mentioned here, but still no luck. I also tried restoring the device to the factory settings several times, and software is up to date as well as on my iPhone and Macbook. I can see other people had similar issues, but could not figure out how they fixed it. Any tips are much appreciated.

Good find, this could be related. Are you able to purchase from the iTunes & App Stores right now? We’d like to have you double verify that you’re signed in and there are no issues with your payment method. No need to include a screenshot though. Here’s where to find that information - Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods

We understand that you’re not able to AirPlay content from your iPhone or Mac to your Apple TV.

Are you seeing any errors on your Apple TV in Settings > General or Settings > General > About? If so, are you able to correct any messages showing there?
